EIKA acquires STONE COOKER and its innovative “Suiseki” table to boost growth
It is a strategic decision aimed at boosting its growth and diversification
The Biscayan cooperative EIKA has formalized the purchase of 100% of the capital of the Navarre-based company STONE COOKER S.L. This acquisition marks an important milestone in the evolution of both companies, especially with regard to the innovative “Suiseki” table.
The “Suiseki” table is a unique product designed for “playful cooking”, which uses electrically heated volcanic stone as a cooking surface. This approach not only ensures clean and healthy cooking, but also eliminates the production of unwanted smoke. The name of the table is inspired by the Japanese art of stone gazing and reflects its natural and functional essence.
Available in three models, the “Suiseki” table allows a wide variety of foods to be cooked directly on its surface, including vegetables, meat, fish, and even eggs and pancakes. Since the start of the collaboration between EIKA and STONE COOKER in June 2022, when EIKA bought 20% of its capital, the synergy has generated a remarkable development in new products. The full equity acquisition gives EIKA the ability to further support and expand STONE COOKER’s operations and business opportunities.
This new phase promises greater resources and capabilities to face new challenges in the industry, consolidating a solid and forward-looking business.
